Special Issue of the International Journal of Modeling and Simulation for the Petroleum Industry

The International Journal of Modeling and Simulation for the Petroleum Industry (IJMSPI) publishes refereed papers describing significant developments in computational modeling and simulation that are applicable to scientific and engineering problems in the Oil industry, encompassing different areas such as Engineering, Geosciences, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Risk analysis. In addition to regular issues of contributed papers, the journal also publishes Special Issues encompassing selected Conference articles and/or covering specific topics of current interest.

Special Issue of IJMSPI will be dedicated to CILAMCE 2016, including a selection of papers related to the Oil industry, and repeating the successful initiatives of CILAMCE 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013. Mini-symposia coordinators will select the two best papers in the field of Modeling and Simulation related to the Oil Industry, which are also considered of proper standard for a Journal publication. The authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their contributions for possible publication in IJMSPI, after proper journal formatting. The pear review process for Special Issues will be expedite.
